Geology

A career in geology can be fascinating. It is the field of science that focuses on the earth’s substance and physical structure. Careers in geology can be expansive, depending on what your main field of interest may be. For example, you may want to work in the corporate world or non-profit, covering of planning, environmental, or even mining work, or go into the educational sector to teach or lecture.

Medicine

Then you’ve also got the field of medicine to consider. If you have wanted to be a doctor or work in healthcare for a long time, then you probably know all of the right classes to major in. Psychology

Then there’s also the scientific field of psychology to consider. If you love the idea of getting behind the mind, then it could be the area for you. The psychology industry covers a wide range of careers. A degree in psychology could land you a career as a therapist or child psychologist, a marriage counsellor or behavioral therapist, or even in social work. If you’d love to work on healing people, it could be a great path for you.

 

Oceanography

Oceanography covers the study of water and sea life, as well as weather and climates in relation to the ocean. If you’ve always been interested in water and water animals, this could be an ideal scientific career path for you. You will need a bachelor’s degree as a minimum for entry, but you may also want to consider a specialist masters in either biological, physical or chemical related.
